Back on Sept. 30th, Go Shiozaki made the surprising decision to leave Pro Wrestling NOAH after spending 18 years with the promotion. After departing NOAH, Shiozaki stated that he was relieved that he was starting fresh and needed to find a new ring to compete in.
On. Oct. 11th, Shiozaki made his return to AJPW as a freelancer and quickly joined the HAVOC faction. Shiozaki’s time as a freelancer ended on Jan. 1 when he became an official member of the AJPW roster.
Since he has been back with AJPW, Shiozaki has been competing like he has been reborn. He had an incredible run during the Champion Carnival 2026 tournament in which he reached the finals before losing to Hideki Suzuki. He was an integral part of the HAVOC unit before he decided to leave the faction.
On June 11, he faced former HAVOC teammate XYON in the main event at AJPW SUPER POWER SERIES 2026 at Shinjuku FACE. The two went to war that kept the sold out crowd on the edge of their seats. Shiozaki emerged victorious in the hard fought bout after landing a Gowan Lariat on XYON.

After the June 11th event, Shiozaki took to X and thanked AJPW for reminding him why he loves professional wrestling and called AJPW “the greatest and strongest”.
From Go Shiozaki:
“Thank you for giving me a path back to professional wrestling. Thank you for lighting the way forward in my wrestling journey. Thank you for reminding me why I love professional wrestling. All Japan Pro Wrestling is the greatest. All Japan Pro Wrestling is the strongest.”
On June 18th, Kento Miyahara will defend his AJPW Triple Crown Title against Hideki Suzuki in a bout that Shiozaki will surely have his eyes on. The last time Shiozaki held the Triple Crown Title was back in May 2015 and he would like nothing more than to strap that coveted belt around his waist once again. That would be the icing on the cake for Shiozaki who is seemingly having the time of his life as part of the AJPW roster.
