Jun & Rei Saito Win AJPW World Tag Team Titles at SUPER POWER SERIES 2026

Jun & Rei Saito became three time AJPW World Tag Team Champions on June 6th in front of their hometown crowd at the NIKKO Arena in Kakuda.

An announced crowd of 2,118 fans were on hand as the hometown heroes Jun & Rei Saito challenged the AJPW World Tag Team Champions Ren Ayabe & Talos in the main event. This was the fourth defense of the titles by the Titans of Calamity.

Ayabe & Talos had momentum and some could say a psychological advantage over the Saito Brothers heading into the bout. Back on March 15th, Ayabe & Talos successfully defended the AJPW World Tag Team Titles against Jun & Rei Saito at AJPW Dream Power Series 2026.

On June 6th, Jun & Rei Saito would not be denied a third AJPW World Tag Team Title reign as they were cheered on by the hometown crowd.

Rei pinned Ayabe after he and Jun hit a powerbomb/chokeslam combo to end the bout at the 26:59 mark. The two brothers enjoyed a well earned post-match celebration after their championship win.

In other action, Hideki Suzuki, Dan Tamura & Masayuki Kono defeat Kento Miyahara, Ryuki Honda & Seigo Tachibana.

• Go Shiozaki & Daisuke Sekimoto defeated Xyon & Shotaro Ashino (15:50) after a Strong Arm Lariat from Shiozaki against Xyon.
• Yuma Aoyagi & Atsuki Aoyagi defeated Yuma Anzai & Shota Kofuji (14:38) after Aoyagi’s final game against Kofuji.
  
• Triple Crown & AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Title Skirmish: Hideki Suzuki, Dan Tamura & Masayuki Kono defeated Kento Miyahara, Ryuki Honda & Seigo Tachibana (19:55) after a La Magistral by Tamura against Tachibana.
  
• AJPW World Tag Team Title: Jun Saito & Rei Saito defeated Ren Ayabe & Talos (c) (26:59) after Rei’s fall out against Ayabe – Failed 4th defense -> 104th Champions).
