Miku Aono Set to Defend the Marigold World Championship Against Nightshade

Miku Aono won the Marigold World Championship back in Oct. 2025 and has gone on to make four successful title defenses.

On June 20th, Aono is set to make her fifth title defense at Marigold SHINING ATTACK 2026 inside the confines of Korakuen Hall. Aono will face arguably her toughest challenger to date in the form of Nightshade.

The championship match came about when Nightshade pinned Aono during a tag team bout on May 28th.

Post match, Nightshade challenged Aono for her Marigold World Championship which was accepted by the champion.

Marigold has made the bout official for June 20th.
