Rossy Ogawa Gives His Thoughts On Utami Hayashishita Returning To STARDOM

On May 23rd, Joshi Puroresu superstar Utami Hayashishita competed in her final match as a member of the Marigold roster due to her departure from the promotion.

Three days later on May 26th, Hayashishita made her return to STARDOM as she appeared at STARDOM NIGHTER IN KORAKUEN 2026 MAY event at Korakuen Hall and confronted her former Queen’s Quest ally Saya Kamitani.

Hayashishita has been confirmed for a number of matches for STARDOM now that she has returned to her former promotion.

As reported by Tokyo Sports, Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa discussed Hayashishita’s return to STARDOM at his promotions May 28th event at Shinjuku FACE.

Ogawa revealed that he knew all along that Hayashishita was going back to STARDOM.

From Rossy Ogawa:

“I knew she was going. Well, it turned out exactly like I expected. She should go where she wants to go and do what she wants to do. She’s already going on tour, isn’t she? They (STARDOM) were certainly thoroughly prepared.”

Ogawa continued to discuss Hayashishita’s return to STARDOM by saying jumping around from place to place isn’t good and wants her to see it through in STARDOM.

From Rossy Ogawa:

“With the promotion showing a shift towards younger talent, it’s going to be tough in many ways for the more experienced wrestlers to figure out how they move forward. Even the top wrestlers over there aren’t at the center anymore. Now that she is there she has no choice but to work hard. But this time, she has to put her heart and soul into it. Jumping around from place to place isn’t really good. I want her to see it through (in STARDOM) and do it with the mindset of burning herself out completely.”
