Hikaru Sato Wins GHC Hardcore Title at MONDAY MAGIC INSIDE OUT SEASON ep2

The GHC Hardcore Title was on the line on May 25th when MONDAY MAGIC returned to Shinjuku FACE for INSIDE OUT SEASON ep2.

Masato Tanaka defended his championship against Hikaru Sato in an extremely hard-hitting main event that saw the challenger give everything he had to overcome the Hardcore legend. Hikaru Sato was able to walk away with the win after locking Tanaka in a Capture-Style Cross Armbreaker for the submission victory.

After the match, Shuji Ishikawa appeared to challenge for the Hardcore Championship, only to be interrupted by Daisuke Sekimoto who stated he also wanted a shot at the title. Ishikawa then suggested a three-way match for WRESTLE MAGIC 2026 on June 15th at Korakuen Hall.

Shuji Ishikawa:

“I came here thinking Masato Tanaka would win—I never expected you to take it… I’m more deserving of the ‘Hardcore’ name than you are. Let’s settle this with that belt on the line!”

Daisuke Sekimoto:

“Hold on a second! Let me challenge you too!”

Shuji Ishikawa:

“Let’s have a three-way match for that belt on June 15 at Korakuen Hall—Hikaru Sato, Daisuke Sekimoto, and Shuji Ishikawa.”

Elsewhere on the card, Great Sakuya vs. Mirai for the vacant GHC Women’s Title was also announced for WRESTLE MAGIC 2026. Following the announcement, Great Sakuya would spit green mist into the face of Mirai before leaving with the Women’s championship belt.
