Shane Haste Says KENTA Will Translate His Victory Speech at LEGACY RISE 2026 on 5/13

By: Ian McCord

On May 13th, Shane Haste is set to make his first defense of the GHC Heavyweight Championship at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s LEGACY RISE 2026 at the legendary Korakuen Hall.

After a shocking return to NOAH in April, Shane Haste won the GHC Heavyweight Championship after defeating Yoshiki Inamura on May 2nd at SPRING MAYHEM RYOGOKU 2026. After the Match, Haste would nominate White Raven Squad stablemate KENTA as the first challenger for his newly won championship.

This will not be the first time Haste and KENTA have faced off for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. Thirteen years ago, KENTA defeated Haste at NOAH Shiny Navigation 2013 to retain the GHC Heavyweight Championship during his first reign with the title.

After Haste and KENTA’s respectful exchange at the press conference ahead of the May 13th title match, Haste took to social media to throw a friendly jab at fellow White Raven Squad member KENTA, saying that after he beats him in Korakuen Hall, he’ll have him translate his victory speech for the fans in attendance.

From Shane Haste via X:

“I’m going to beat him then have him translate my victory speech. Thank you, KENTA.”

Also on May 13th, Yoshiki Inamura will go one on one with OZAWA, and KENOH will join forces with Tiger Mask to take on Naomichi Marufuji and Alejandro in a special tag team match.
