NJPW Announces Six Huge Bouts For Dominion Which is Set For June 14th

On May 9th, New Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference at Tokyo Dream Park and officially announced the first six bouts for Dominion which is scheduled for June 14th at Osaka Jo Hall.

The main event will be a rematch from Sakura Genesis 2026 as Callum Newman will defend his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against the man he won it from Yota Tsuji. This will be Newman’s second defense of the IWGP Heavyweight Title.

Tsuji will be looking to bounce back after losing two major IWGP titles in the span of one month as he hopes to regain the IWGP Heavyweight belt at Dominion.

The two came came face to face at the May 9th press conference and Newman hit Tsuji with a low blow that caused him to drop to the ground in immense pain.

The IWGP Global Heavyweight Title will be on the line at Dominion as the current champion Andrade El Idolo makes his first defense of the championship as he faces the challenge of Shota Umino and Drilla Moloney in a Triple Threat bout.

Andrade El Idolo won the title from Yota Tsuji in a thrilling bout at Wrestling Dontaku and was immediately challenged by Umino and Moloney which set up the upcoming Triple Threat championship bout at Dominion.

• IWGP Heavyweight Championship: Callum Newman (c) vs. Yota Tsuji
• IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship: Andrade El Idolo (c) vs. Shota Umino vs. Drilla Moloney
• IWGP Tag Team Championship: OSKAR & Yuto-Ice (c) vs. Great-O-Khan & HENARE
• NEVER Openweight Championship: Ren Narita (c) vs. Aaron Wolf
• NJPW World TV Championship: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. SANADA
• Yuya Uemura & Taichi vs. Zack Sabre Jr & Ryohei Oiwa

More matches are expected to be announced for NJPW Dominion in the near future.
