On April 12th at the Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling event at Korakuen Hall, Ryo Mizunami & Manami defeated Yurika Oka and Mio Momono to become the new Sendai Girls Tag Team Champions. The win gave Mizunami & Manami their second reign as the tag team champions for Sendai Girls.
After her championship victory, the celebration for Mizunami was only beginning as she made the announcement that she had re-joined Sendai Girls and officially became part of their roster once again. Meiko Satomura presented Mizunami with her red Sendai Girls jacket as she celebrated with the rest of the roster.

After the event had ended, Mizunami took to X and indicated that she was overwhelmed with emotion after slipping on the Sendai Girls red jacket again after almost 14 years.
From Ryo Mizunami:
“I’ve officially joined Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling! For me, this is a return to the group. When I received the red jersey from Satomura-san and slipped it on for the first time in about 14 years, I was overwhelmed with emotion. From now on, as Aya Mizunami of Sendai Girls, I’ll give it my all! Everyone, please look forward to seeing me in the ring!” (English Translation via Deepl.com)
Mizunami is a solid veteran who has enjoyed incredible success in her 22 years as a pro-wrestler. With Sendai Girls rapidly growing in popularity, the addition of Mizunami gives the promotion a major asset with world class experience.
The next Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling event is set for April 19th at Sendai PIT.
