OZAWA Challenges LTJ to an All-Out Battle at NOAH’s SPRING MAYHEM RYOGOKU 2026 on 5/2

The next chapter in Tetsuya Naito and OZAWA’s ongoing rivalry is set to take place on May 2nd at NOAH’s SPRING MAYHEM RYOGOKU 2026 event with the two finally set to face off in a special singles match.

On April 12th Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI successfully defended the GHC Tag Team Championships against OZAWA & Jun Masaoka in the semi-main event of NOAH’s APEX CONQUEST 2026 in NAGOYA.

After getting a face full of BUSHI’s poison mist, OZAWA would be rolled up by Naito for the 3 count resulting in victory for Los Tranquilos de Japon.

After the match an angry OZAWA would get on the microphone and claim NOAH does not need LTJ and would challenge Naito to a singles match for May 2nd in Ryogoku.

From OZAWA:

“This isn’t how NOAH fights! We really don’t need LTJ! That’s why TEAM 2000X, have decided to take down all four members of LTJ. Hey, Naito. Have a singles match with me.”

Naito would accept a singles match with OZAWA, claiming that he’s been loving fighting with his new rival.

From Naito:

 “What, OZAWA? You want a singles match with me? My answer is, of course, Tran… no, wait, I actually love fighting OZAWA—it’s fun every day. A singles match? I’d love to.”

The All-Out Battle between LTJ and TEAM 2000X was made official after the event in Nagoya with a best of 3 series announced for the May 2nd card in Ryogoku.

The first match in the series will see LTJ’s Angel Reyes & RYUSEI take on TEAM 2000X members Alpha Wolf & Kai Fujimura in tag team action and BUSHI taking on Jun Masaoka in singles competition to decide the second.

The best of 3 series will be decided in the first singles meeting between OZAWA and Tetsuya Naito with OZAWA claiming on X that their singles encounter will be Naito’s retirement match.
