Will Ospreay Set To Return To NJPW at SAKURA GENESIS, Ospreay Comments On His Return

For the first time in over 2 years, Will Ospreay will be competing in a match for NJPW in Japan as the superstar will make his return at SAKURA GENESIS on April 4th.

Ospreay will join his United Empire unit mates Great-O-Khan and HENARE  as they face the trio of Yuya Uemura, Taichi & El Desperado in a massive six man bout.

Will Ospreay took to X to issue a comment about his return at SAKURA GENESIS:

April 4, Ryogoku Kokugikan. The original members of United Empire have reunited for the first time in two years. Please cheer me on as I return to my favorite arena in the pro-wrestling world—and, above all, to my hometown. Thank you.

Ospreay appeared at NJPW New Year’s Dash on Jan. 6th and joined Callum Newman plus other United Empire members in the ring. Newman teased attacking Ospreay but was stopped by HENARE and Great-O-Khan.

Will Ospreay’s last match for NJPW in Japan before joining AEW was Feb. 11 2024 at NJPW The New Beginning In Osaka.
