Sendai Girls held their latest event on March 22nd at Shinkiba 1st RING in Tokyo. Yurika Oka was scheduled to face the current Sendai Girls World Champion Chihiro Hashimoto in a non-title bout at the event but was pulled from the match due a head injury she received on March 20th.
Hashimoto found out who her replacement opponent early on in the event. After defeating Honoka, YUNA asked Meiko Satomura if she could face Chihiro Hashimoto to which Satomura agreed.

Hashimoto vs YUNA was set to be the co-featured bout but was changed to the main event due to Hashimoto, who competed earlier in the evening at the Sareee-ISM event, had not arrived at the venue in time.
Chihiro Hashimoto eventually did arrive at the venue to face YUNA in the featured bout of the evening. The 21 year old YUNA, who is a former Sendai Girls Jr. Champion, gave a spirited effort but the experience and sheer power of Hashimoto proved to be too much for her. Hashimoto ended the bout after hitting a huge lariat on YUNA which was enough to gain a pinfall victory. Hashimoto praised YUNA’s effort after the match was over.

After the bout, Hashimoto was addressing the crowd when the IWGP Women’s Champion Syuri appeared and confronted Hashimoto. Two hours prior, Hashimoto teamed with Syuri in a losing effort to Sareee & Takumi Iroha at the latest Sareee-ISM event.
Syuri asked Hashimoto for a singles bout at the Sendai Girls event at Korakuen Hall on April 12th to which Hashimoto accepted. There was no indication that either Syuri’s IWGP Women’s Title or Hashimoto’s Sendai Girls World Championship will be on the line in the upcoming match between the two stars.
In the co-featured bout, Manami and Ryo Mizunami defeated DASH Chisako and Mika Iwata in tag team action.
