STARDOM were back in Osaka, with their event being paired with a book signing for Saya Kamitani’s new autobiography. The drama was not confined to the ring however, as Sayaka Kurara crashed Kamitani’s book signing, pleading with the champion to challenge for the World of Stardom Title.
Kurara had appealed to Kamitani for a shot at the red belt back at Supreme Fight. Kamitani quickly dismissed her challenged, then took some time away to heal the finger injury she had sustained in the match against Starlight Kid. Kurara just could not take ‘no’ for an answer. Disguising herself as a fan, Kurara joined the line for Kamitani’s book signing. She revealed herself to the champion and once again asked for a match, saying:
Saya Kamitani, I knew you’d be here today. I’ve already read the whole thing [the autobiography]. So now, let me challenge you for the red belt!
To which, Kamitani responded:
Huh? Like I’d let you! What’s with all these sticky notes?
Kamitani then snatched Kurara’s book and struck her over the head with it. Kamitani then demanded that Kurara stay and help serve the remaining customers at the book signing.
Desperate for a title shot, Kurara did just that, being berated by Kamitani the whole time. Once the event was through, Kurara once again asked for a match, to which Kamitani replied:
Are you stupid?… No way I’m doing that, you moron!
Kamitani then literally squashed Kurara’s hopes by stomping on her as she left.

Later, STARDOM were in Osaka EDION Arena #2. Kurara was part of the main event, taking on H.A.T.E. with Natsupoi, Yuna Mizumori, Maki Itoh and Kikyo Furusawa. As Kurara was lining up an attack on Natsuko Tora, Kamitani rushed into the ring and booted her in the face.
Kamitani’s intervention directly led to a H.A.T.E. victory, with Kurara being pinned by Tora. The world champion snatched the microphone and berated her would-be challenger some more:
Hey, Kurara! You’re a pain in the ass on social media, spouting nonsense about GPS and black holes. Saya-sama’s busy with her autobiography gatherings, so don’t bother her, you idiot!
Even after all the abuse suffered at the hands of Kamitani and H.A.T.E., Kurara still believes in herself, saying in her post-match comments:
I won’t break. I won’t give up. It doesn’t matter if you say I’m no match for you. I will stand before you. I am the only one who can take that belt from you.
