STARDOM held it’s latest major event on Feb. 7th as the promotion presented STARDOM SUPREME FIGHT IN OSAKA 2026 at the Osaka Edion Arena. There was an announced crowd of 2,563 fans on hand as attendance for STARDOM events continue to flourish.
The main event was a highly anticipated World of STARDOM Championship bout between the current champion Saya Kamitani and her challenger Starlight Kid. Kamitani took a 405 days Red Belt title reign into the match with Starlight Kid ready to do anything to end incredible run of Kamitani.
As expected, Kamitani and Starlight Kid engaged in an absolute war in front of the crowd in Osaka. Each pulling out all the stops to emerge victorious in what is being called a masterpiece of a main event.
During the course of the bout, Kamitani dislocated her finger and the match was stopped for an extended period of time. After being looked at by a ringside doctor, she was allowed to continue with the dislocated finger.

Kamitani fought through the injury and ended the bout at the 27:26 mark after hitting her Revolution Style Star Crusher on Starlight Kid to retain the coveted Red Belt. This was Kamitani’s ninth successful defense and ensured her 405 day reign as World of STARDOM Champion will continue.
Kamitani and Starlight Kid had words for each other immediately following their intense battle:
Saya Kamitani:
“Hey, when I got injured halfway through, did you think I would lose the Red Belt? Listen, Saya-sama is not wearing this belt with halfhearted feelings! Even if I were to break a finger or two, Saya-sama was absolutely determined to protect it! I protected this belt no matter what, that is what it means to be the Red Belt Champion!”
Starlight Kid:
“Even if I had beaten Kamitani due to an accident like that, it would not have made me happy at all! But that’s how strong Kamitani is, isn’t it? Ah, I know. I think I have the strongest obsession with Kamitani! I will definitely stand before you again, Kamitani! Just you wait!”
Saya Kamitani:
“Hey, Kid. Sorry, but let me say this from my side. This feels a bit unfinished. Let’s do it again, with the Red Belt on the line.”

When the smoke cleared, Kamitani asked if there was anyone else who wanted to challenge her. Her challenge was answered by Sayaka Kurara who appeared and confronted the champion. Kurara challenged Kamitani for the Red Belt but was reminded she had an opportunity last year but was unsuccessful.
During her backstage post-match interview, Kamitani stated she will not accept the challenge of Kurara.
From Saya Kamitani:
“Midway through, I dislocated my finger and didn’t know what would happen, but right now, without a doubt, the Red Belt is around my waist! I haven’t been defending this Red Belt with half-hearted feelings. I haven’t been protecting it half-heartedly. For this past year or so, what kind of feelings have I had while defending it, while running at the front of STARDOM? There’s no way I’d let it end here! I’m a pro-wrestler! But still, Kid, you like Saya-sama way too much, don’t you? That girl is always going ‘Kamitani, Kamitani,’ it’s so annoying, seriously. Well, but not giving up here is just like Kid, isn’t it? But let me say this from my side. I didn’t quite get to finish everything I wanted today, so you’d better let us do this one more time for this Red Belt, Kid! At the end, who was that who came out… I have no memory of it. Kurara? Oh, Sayaka Kurara. Does she remember losing last year? I don’t know what she was thinking coming out after this match, but there’s no way I’m going to fight her. Is she mocking me? Saya-sama still has plenty of nightmares she wants to show you all. I will absolutely not let it end here! You all better keep following me!”
In other action, Konami defeated Ami Sohrei to retain her Wonder of STARDOM Title for her third successful defense. After the match, Hina appeared and challenged Konami for the White Belt.
