Yuma Anzai Tries an A&W Hamburger For the First Time and Seemingly Gives His Approval

All Japan Pro-Wrestling’s next big event is scheduled for Jan. 18th at Shinkiba 1stRING in Tokyo. The featured bout will see Kento Miyahara team with Hideki Suzuki & Ryuki Honda as they face Talos, Ren Ayabe & Yuma Anzai.

Before competing in that big main event, Yuma Anzai went on a promotional tour in Okinawa in which he appeared on TV and radio. The purpose was to discuss the upcoming AJPW Excite Series 2026 tour that kicks off in Okinawa on Feb. 1st at the Okinawa Prefectural Budokan.

During the promotional tour, Anzai visited a balloon store as well as a sports establishment to spread the word of the upcoming Okinawa event.

While in Okinawa, Anzai made a stop at an A&W fast food restaurant and tried one of their popular hamburgers for the first time. A&W is a well known chain of hamburger restaurants that originated in Canada back in 1923. The Okinawa restaurant first opened in 1963.

On Jan. 15th was a big day as the former AJPW Triple Crown Champion Yuma Anzai had his introductory A&W hamburger. With his hamburger, Anzai also had an order of fries and a glass of A&W’s famous root beer.

When Anzai opened the wrapper to the burger, a look of excitement came over his face as he was about to taste an A&W burger for the first time. After he sunk his teeth into it, Anzai smiled and almost giggled with delight which seemingly meant he approved.

The entire joyous Anzai/A&W moment was captured on video for everyone to enjoy.

At the AJPW event in Okinawa, Anzai will team with Jun Saito & Ryo Inoue as they face Kento Miyahara, Hideki Suzuki & Dan Tamura.

There is a very good chance that the A&W restaurant in Okinawa could get another visit from Yuma Anzai when AJPW rolls into town on Feb. 1st.
