Yoshiki Inamura Retains GHC Heavyweight Title at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s “LEGACY RISE 2026”, Next Challenger Emerges

By: Lewis Carlan

Pro Wrestling NOAH held it’s latest event NOAH “LEGACY RISE 2026” at Korakuen Hall and saw a turnout of 1,489 fans at the famed venue.

The main event featured the GHC Heavyweight Champion Yoshiki Inamura making his third defense of his title against Team 2000X member Masa Kitamiya. This was Inamura’s second defense in 10 days as he retained his belt on Jan. 1st against Team 2000X leader OZAWA.

During the match, Team 2000X tried to use their sheer numbers as an advantage and attack Inamura in an attempt to render him helpless against Kitamiya. Luckily for Inamura, KENOH was not going to let this happen and rushed to the ring to aid the champion.

Inamura and Kitamiya engaged in a hard hitting war as Kitamiya was attempting to capture NOAH’s top prize. Kitamiya has failed numerous times in the past to win the GHC Heavyweight Title and was hoping to turn his luck around against Inamura.

Unfortunately for Kitamiya, this attempt to win the GHC Heavyweight Championship ended like all his previous attempts in failure.

It took nearly thirty minutes but Inamura was able to put Kitamiya away with his DIS CHARGE top rope splash to end the match and retain his title.

Following his victory, KENOH was about to challenge Inamura for the GHC Heavyweight Championship when he was attacked by another Team 2000X unit member Takashi Sugiura.

This angered Inamura and led to him stating he wants to fight Sugiura next. Inamura is now set to defend his GHC Heavyweight Title against Sugiura on Feb. 11th.

In another action, AMAKUSA defeated Daiki Odashima to retain his GHC Jr Heavyweight Title and Tetsuya Endo scored a minor upset as he defeated OZAWA in a singles bout.

In a shocking development, Kai Fujimura turned his back on All Rebellion and joined Team 2000X. Fujimura attacked Alejandro during an eight man All Rebellion vs Team 2000X match. Fujimura accepted his Team 2000x shirt and officially joined the hated faction.
