TOKYO – Chihiro Hashimoto defeated Sareee in the main event of her 10th anniversary celebration on Sunday, capping a sold-out Korakuen Hall show that featured continued crossover action between Sendai Girls and STARDOM, extending a partnership that has flourished over the past ~18 months.
The Sendai Girls World Champion made a bold proclamation following her victory, declaring that the promotion will aim for the prestigious Nippon Budokan within three years. Hashimoto also posed for photos with Olympic, World Championship, and Asian Wrestling Championship gold medalist freestyle wrestler Yui Sasaki, symbolizing the crossover appeal of Japanese women’s wrestling.
The main event concluded two months of escalating tension between Hashimoto and Sareee, who had previously teamed against each other at SAREEE-ISM Chapter IX last week. Despite the loss, Sareee showed respect for her rival in defeat.
“Chihiro Hashimoto! I’m always working hard so that I won’t lose to you, no matter what. Do you understand?” Sareee said after the match. “So a lot has happened over the past year, and I’ve overcome a lot since our last singles match. That’s why today’s match was so important to me! And yet, I’m really disappointed to have lost like this. But, happy 10th anniversary! Thank you for fighting with me!” h/t meraWrestling
In a significant undercard bout, Senka Akatsuki challenged YUNA for the Sendai Girls Junior Championship after earning her title shot by winning the 2025 Jaja Uma Tournament, a month-long competition showcasing emerging talent throughout Joshi. Earlier in the evening, Akatsuki had defeated Spike Nishimura via diving body press in the tournament final to secure her championship opportunity.

The STARDOM-Sendai Girls partnership brought high-flying excitement and dramatic flair throughout the card. STARDOM’s Fairy Blossom team of Natsupoi and Aya Sakura – bringing that same colorful, magical girl aesthetic that has helped define Cosmic Angels – defeated Bob Bob Momo Banana (Mio Momono and Yurika Oka) when Natsupoi pinned Oka with her signature Fairy-ing Ring finisher.
Natsupoi’s presence carried special significance given her deep connection with Sareee. The charismatic high-flyer has spoken openly about how Sareee encouraged her during a dark period when her passion for wrestling had begun to wane, making their intertwined appearances on the card a poignant reminder of the bonds that transcend promotional boundaries in Japanese women’s wrestling.
Takumi Iroha teamed with the gender-fluid wrestling sensation VENY to open the show with a victory over Mika Iwata and Miyuki Takase, with VENY securing the pin after a spectacular Moonsault Press. VENY, who has become a trailblazing figure in Japanese wrestling while performing across multiple promotions, continues to break barriers and captivate audiences with their athletic prowess.
DASH Chisako defeated Maria of Marvelous with a Hormone Splash, while legendary veteran Aja Kong – a living icon whose career spans over three decades – defeated Shin Katsushika Sakura Hirota and Yuu in a showcase of her enduring dominance and unmatched intensity.
The crossover between Sendai Girls and STARDOM has created fresh matchups and dream encounters for fans of Japanese women’s wrestling, with talents from both promotions benefiting from the expanded opportunities. Hashimoto’s vision of reaching Budokan would represent a major milestone for Sendai Girls, one of the key independent promotions in the joshi scene, and a testament to the growing strength of women’s wrestling in Japan.
