EVIL Says He Will Face Dragon Gate Star Shun Skywalker At PURGE NIGHT OF TORTURE But Skywalker Indicates He Hasn’t Agreed

On November 19th, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will present PURGE NIGHT OF TORTURE at Korakuen Hall. This event will be one in which the faction HOUSE OF TORTURE are set to have complete control of the evening.

The first match was revealed on Oct. 18th as the leader of HOUSE OF TORTURE and current NEVER Openweight Champion EVIL stated that he will face Dragon Gate superstar Shun Skywalker in a first time ever match-up at PURGE NIGHT OF TORTURE.

While the match has been announced by NJPW as being the first match set, there is one small issue that needs to be addressed. Shun Skywalker took to social media and indicated that he hasn’t agreed to the match. Skywalker posted on X as a direct response to the graphic and said that he didn’t give his ok for facing EVIL on Nov. 19th at Korakuen Hall.

The English translation from Skywalker states, “I didn’t say OK!”

As of this writing, Skywalker still has not agreed to the match against EVIL on Nov. 19th at Korakuen Hall.

While a match between EVIL and Shun Skywalker has all the makings of a potential inter-promotional classic, it is not official yet despite the announcement made by NJPW and EVIL.

It will be interesting to see if Skywalker agrees to the bout or if EVIL will need to find another opponent for PURGE NIGHT OF TORTURE.

HOUSE OF TORTURE is led by Evil and also consists of Chase Owens, Dick Togo, Don Fale, Douki, Ren Narita, Sho, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Yujiro Takahashi and Sanada. They are all expected to to have matches at PURGE NIGHT OF TORTURE.
