NJPW G1 Climax 35 Entrants and Blocks Revealed

The most prestigious tournament in professional wrestling, G1 Climax 35, is set to kick off on July 19th at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center. The tournament will conclude on August 17th at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling revealed the entrants of the G1 Climax 35 tournament and their respective block placements at today’s Dominion event.
The G1 Climax 35 participants are as follows:
A Block:
- Yota Tsuji
- El Phantasmo
- Hiroshi Tanahashi
- SANADA
- David Finlay
- EVIL
- Yuya Uemura
- Oleg Boltin
B Block:
- Hirooki Goto
- Konosuke Takeshita
- Zack Sabre Jr.
- Great-O-Khan
- Ren Narita
- Shingo Takagi
- Gabe Kidd
- Shota Umino
There will be four more entrants, two to each block, that will be decided via four upcoming matches. The competitors in the four qualifying matches have not yet been revealed.

The winner of the G1 Climax 35 tournament will go on to face the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship which is currently held by Hirooki Goto.
Zack Sabre Jr will attempt to win the G1 Climax for the second consecutive year. The last competitor to win the tournament two years in a row was Kazuchika Okada who won it in 2021 & 2022.
