Chris Jericho vs. KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Set for DDT Ultimate Party 2023

Chris Jericho seeks revenge on The Don Callis Family as he looks to enter the ring in another Japanese promotion – DDT.

The Don Callis Family has been making life hell for both Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega, with Will Ospreay defeating Omega at Forbidden Door, TAKESHITA defeating Omega at All Out, and who is now targeting Omega’s fellow Canadian Chris Jericho. Jericho, who refused to join The Don Callis Family and instead saw his partner Sammy Guevara betray him to join Callis instead, was saved by Omega on this week’s AEW Rampage, and is now seeking retribution against KONOSUKE TAKESHITA.

Don Callis made a surprising appearance in DDT today, promising that his family will “Change The World” – a phrase awfully similar to what the Best Bout Machine uses. Not only this, but TAKESHITA is calling himself The Alpha, just like Jericho did against Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12 back in 2017.

Jericho officially made his challenge to TAKESHITA in a pre-taped promo, saying that he’ll see him on November 12th at Ryogoku Sumo Hall at DDT Ultimate Party, before calling him a “stupid idiot” in Japanese.

TAKESHITA responded to Jericho’s challenge by saying: “I will destroy the Lionheart, I will destroy Y2J, I will destroy the ‘Painmaker’ – I will destroy everything about you. I am the real Alpha. See you in DDT.”
