Jake Lee Retains GHC Heavyweight Championship Against Go Shiozaki

Jake Lee successfully kept ahold of his GHC Heavyweight Title against NOAH’s Ace, Go Shiozaki

By: James Carlin

After winning the N-1 Victory this year Go Shiozaki set his sights on taking away the gold from the grasp of the Good Looking Guy, but the dominant champion has not been able to be stopped as he one-by-one accumulates wins over NOAH’s biggest news, with Shiozaki being the latest on the list at GRAND SHIP 2023.

In the lead-up to the match, Lee promised to break the challenger’s arms – but it wasn’t the only thing he broke in their match, as he also broke his dreams of becoming a six-time GHC Heavyweight Champion.

Following the championship match, the champion asked KENOH to come to the ring. Lee explained that KENOH was the only person to give him a loss in the N-1 Victory this year, and nominated him to be his next challenger, setting up Lee’s fifth defence of the title.
