On May 18th, Kento Miyahara faced Rei Saito in the finals of the All Japan Pro-Wrestling Champion Carnival 2025 tournament. After a hard fought match by both competitors it was Saito who prevailed over Miyahara and earned the prestigious Champion Carnival Trophy and an opportunity to challenge for the AJPW Triple Crown Title.
Back on Jan. 3rd at Marigold’s First Dream event, the GHC Women’s Champion Kouki Amarei was making her first defense of the title against Chika Goto. Unfortunately for Amarei, this would be her last match for a few months as she suffered a torn ACL during the bout.

On May 17th, New Japan Pro-Wrestling held it’s fifth night of Best of Super Juniors 32 tournament action. There were over 1800 fan in attendance at the Yoyogi National Stadium Gymnasium #2 to witness the event.

HANAKO, who is one half of the New Blood Tag Team Champions, earned this opportunity when she won the pre-show Rumble match at Stardom All-Star Grand Queendom 2025.
On May 24th at Marigold Shine Forever 2025, pro-wrestling great Nanae Takahashi will end her incredible career as she is set to have her final match. Her final opponent will be Miku Aono, who confronted Takahashi on May 4th in Korakuen Hall and made the challenge for May 24th.
