The main event was a huge preliminary bout that featured current champions and their upcoming challengers. The AJPW Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara teamed with the AJPW World Tag Team Champion Ren Ayabe and Talos as they faced the 2026 Champion Carnival winner Hideki Suzuki and his partners Jun & Rei Saito. On June 6th, Ren Ayabe & Talos will make their fourth defense of the tag team titles against Jun & Rei Saito while on June 18th, Kento Miyahara will put his Triple Crown belt on the line against Hideki Suzuki. The King of DDT tournament wrapped up in Korakuen Hall, with Shinya Aoki emerging as the ultimate winner. Now, Aoki heads into DDT King of Kings on June 28th where he will challenge Yuki Ueno for the KO-D Openweight Championship.

On May 31st, STARDOM held its STARDOM IN KYOTO 2026 MAY event at Kyoto KBS Hall in front of yet another sold out crowd. One of the matches during the event featured Maki Itoh, Kikyo Furusawa, Waka Tsukiyama & Rian taking on the Artist of STARDOM Champions Ami Sohrei, Hina & Lady C plus their partner Kiyoka Kotatsu.

Pro Wrestling NOAH’s NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE returned on May 30th at Korakuen Hall with 1,296 fans in attendance for the fourth event of the tournament.  

On May 30, GLEAT presented it’s TAKEHIRO YAMAMURA TRIUMPHANT LOCAL RETURN at the Konohana Kumin Ikkyu Hall in Osaka. A sold out crowd was on hand to welcome Takehiro Yamamura back to his hometown of Osaka.

On May 26th, Utami Hayahshishita shocked the world of pro-wrestling when she made her return to STARDOM. Hayashishita appeared at STARDOM NIGHTER IN KORAKUEN 2026 MAY event at Korakuen Hall and came face to face with her former Queen’s Quest ally Saya Kamitani.

On May 23rd, Joshi Puroresu superstar Utami Hayashishita competed in her final match as a member of the Marigold roster as she departed the promotion. Three days later on May 26th, Hayashishita made her return to STARDOM

At the May 28th MARIGOLD SHINING ATTACK 2026 event which occurred at Shinjuku FACE, Seri Yamaoka dislocated her shoulder during a British Empire Women’s World Championship bout.

On May 28th, Pro Wrestling ZERO1 held a press conference for the upcoming Fire Festival 2026, with competitors from both blocks in attendance to share their thoughts on the tournament before it begins on June 13th.
