At the July 12th MARIGOLD BURNING DESIRE 2025 event, Rea Seto shocked the fans in attendance by turning on her tag team partners Victoria Yuzuki & Miku Aono and joined the Darkness Revolution faction. Seto, Yuzuki & Aono were facing the Darkness Revolution trio of Nagisa Nozaki, Misa Matsui & CHIAKI at the event.
New Japan Pro Wrestling’s El Phantasmo will debut his custom HDBNGR RGB LED Shades at all G1 Climax 35 shows, marking the culmination of a two-year development process that the wrestler claims has produced the world’s most powerful light-up shades.

Back on June 21st, former Marigold star Bozilla made a surprise appearance for STARDOM and ultimately joined the promotion. There were many individuals that made the claim that STARDOM stole Bozilla from Marigold. In addition, there were some that thought that the two rival promotions made a trade that saw Iwatani go to Marigold in exchange for Bozilla.

After being with Marigold at it’s inception and spending nearly a year with the promotion, Bozilla jumped ship to STARDOM on June 21st when she made a surprise appearance. This did not sit well with Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa as he apparently harbours ill feelings towards Bozilla which came to light during a recent interview with Proresu Today.
The unofficial kickoff of Tiger Mask IV’s retirement tour culminated in a big unmasking at Shinjuku FACE, where 431 fans witnessed TAKA Michinoku revealed as the mysterious Rim Fine Black Tiger during Strong Style Pro-Wrestling’s 20th anniversary celebration. The event, presided over by original Tiger Mask Satoru Sayama, launched what promises to be an emotional farewell tour for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s current Tiger Mask, who announced his retirement for July 2026.
Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling (TJPW) claims they have made history this week by producing the largest Japanese women’s wrestling event ever held in the United States, with a special showcase in Houston today being followed a record-breaking attendance in the Dallas suburbs

On July 16th, Marigold will present arguably the biggest match to date for the promotion as the Marigold World Champion Utami Hayashishita meets Marvelous superstar and GHC Women’s Champion Takumi Iroha. The match is confirmed to be a double title bout.
