New Japan Pro-Wrestling was at the Kumagaya City Gymnasium on Oct. 25th as 1,093 fans were in attendance for the third night of Super Jr Tag League 2025 action.
There were three Block A bouts scheduled with the featured bout being Hiromu Takahashi & Gedo facing off against the duo of DOUKI & SHO.
On Oct. 26th, Miku Aono will get an opportunity to become the Marigold World Champion as she faces the current champion Utami Hayashishita at GRAND DESTINY 2025 which is set to take place at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
Aono earned her Marigold World Title opportunity as she is the DREAM★STAR GP 2025 tournament winner having defeated Victoria Yuzuki in the finals back in September
Marigold’s biggest event of the year and quite possibly the biggest event in the history of the promotion GRAND DESTINY 2025 is set to get underway in a few short hours.
GRAND DESTINY 2025 will feature a massive main event as the icon and current Marigold Superfly Champion Mayu Iwatani will face WWE superstar IYO SKY in their first singles match in seven years. The match between the two megastars has been aptly named THE DREAM DESTINY.
On Oct. 26th, Marigold will present arguably its biggest event in it’s short existence as GRAND DESTINY 2025 will take place at at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
At the event, the Marigold United National Champion Mai Sakurai will make her seventh defense of her title as she faces the challenge of Victoria Yuzuki. This bout is expected to be Sakurai’s toughest title defense to date as Yuzuki is considered to be the future leader of Marigold and is a former Superfly Champion.
Konosuke Takeshita has been experiencing a true megastar year in 2025 while competing for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, DDT Pro-Wrestling & All Elite Wrestling. His accomplishments for the year including holding the NEVER Openweight Title, the AEW International Title and was the winner of the prestigious NJPW G1 Climax 35 tournament.
In two days, Marigold will hold its massive GRAND DESTINY 2025 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
At the event, the Marigold World Title will be on the line as the current champion Utami Hayashishita will defend her title against the DREAM★STAR GP 2025 tournament winner Miku Aono.
Kento Miyahara’s second title defense in his seventh reign as All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Champion will come a mere eleven days after defeating Go Shiozaki on Oct. 22nd to retain his title.
STARDOM has announced an official working relationship with lucha libre organization CMLL. The collaboration was revealed on CMLL’s news show, Informa, with STARDOM president Taro Okada there to speak on the new partnership.

On October 21st, All Japan Pro-Wrestling held its “RAISING AN ARMY MEMORIAL SERIES 2025” event at Korakuen Hall. There was a total of 1,322 fans in attendance to witness Kento Miyahara make his first defense of his seventh reign against former Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Go Shiozaki.
