The TJPW Max Heart tournament got underway in the Yokohama Radiant Hall. With four teams already having a bye into the second round, eight more teams were looking to book their place into the next stage of the tournament. 

All Japan Pro-Wrestling’s next big event is scheduled for Jan. 18th at Shinkiba 1stRING in Tokyo. The main event will see Kento Miyahara team with Hideki Suzuki & Ryuki Honda as they face Talos, Ren Ayabe & Yuma Anzai.

On Jan. 12th, Utami Hayashishita joined forces with Marigold World Champion Miku Aono as they faced the tandem of GHC Women’s Champion and Marigold Superfly Champion Mayu Iwatani & Marigold United National Titleholder Victoria Yuzuki in a huge tag team battle at MARIGOLD NEW YEAR GOLDEN GARDEN 2026.

Former New Japan Pro-Wrestling and current AEW superstar Kazuchika Okada made his first return to NJPW in Japan after nearly two years on Jan. 4th at Wrestle Kingdom 20.

Another small chapter was added to the rivalry that exists between Marigold United National Champion Victoria Yuzuki and Rea Seto.

On Feb. 7th at STARDOM Supreme Fight in Osaka 2026, Starlight Kid will get an opportunity at the World Of STARDOM championship as she challenges the current champion Saya Kamitani.

On Jan. 12th, a surprising reveal occurred in the world of pro-wrestling as it was disclosed that New Japan Pro-Wrestling superstar Shingo Takagi and STARDOM superstar Natsupoi had gotten married in 2025.

Marigold returned to Korakuen Hall on Jan. 12th as the promotion presented its NEW YEAR GOLDEN GARDEN 2026 event. There were 705 fans on hand at the famed venue to witness the event.

On Jan. 11th, Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling held it’s latest event at Shinkiba 1st RING in Tokyo with a line-up of five big bouts.
