On Aug. 1st, Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling invaded Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo with a sold out crowd on hand for the event. The featured bout saw the Sendai Girls World Champion Chihiro Hashimoto face the Sendai Girls Junior Champion Spike Nishimura in a non-title encounter.
NJPW took the G1 Climax to Hiroshima for the tenth day of action, focusing on the A Block. While the rest of the pack tried to catch up, Konosuke Takeshita asserted his place at the top of the leaderboard with a statement win over Hirooki Goto.

The ROH Women’s World Championship match for August 21st’s Death Before Dishonor has been decided. After clashing in trios action on AEW Collision, Hazuki will challenge Athena for the gold.
All Japan Pro-Wrestling superstar Yuma Anzai will be expanding his horizons as he is set to star in an upcoming movie called KAI. KAI is a feature length film which is described as an action horror comedy in which Anzai is the lead actor of the movie.
On July 30th, Marigold confirmed who all 24 entrants will be in the 3rd annual Marigold DREAM✴︎STAR GP. One name that was not on the participant list this year was Kizuna Tanaka.
The ninth leg of the NJPW G1 Climax saw the B Block take centre stage in Takamatsu. Former G1 Climax winner Zack Sabre Jr.’s losing streak continued, while the top end of the block becomes ever more tense with five men tied on eight points.
Mai Sakurai has been with Marigold since the promotion’s inaugural event Marigold Fields Forever in May 2024. Sakurai has emjoyed great success with Marigold as she is a former Marigold Twin Star Champion.
