Yuzuki, STARDOM’s Newest Rookie, to Debut Against Momo Watanabe

A tough challenge lies ahead of the newest member of STARDOM’s roster

Just a few days ago, STARDOM released the news that a new member of their roster would debut at New Blood West, set to take place tomorrow in Osaka. This came with a video of the new trainee. but a name wasn’t released until today’s press conference.

It was revealed that her name would be Yuzuki (弓月)*. She will be facing Momo Watanabe in her first wrestling match. Luckily, or even unluckily, Watanabe has a track record of being involved in debut matches – appearing in the wrestling debuts for Jungle Kyona, Saya Kamitani, and Starlight Kid.

Yuzuki admitted that she is a little scared to be facing the Black Peach, but she wants to use everything that she has learned in her training to come out on top. Watanabe responded by saying that she’ll  “make Yuzuki want to quit” after she beats her in her debut, gloating that she’s celebrating her ninth anniversary today (Nov. 16) and is much better than her in the ring. h/t Tokyo Sports

*Author Note: The graphic for the match shows Yuzuki as being named 新人 – this means “rookie” or “newcomer” in Japanese, and is indicative that her name was not known until today.
