Yuya Aoki Remains Undefeated in the AJPW Zennichi Jr. Festival Tournament

The All Japan Pro-Wrestling Zennichi Jr. Festival Tournament continued on Aug. 15th as the promotion presented a SUMMER ACTION WARS 2026 doubleheader at Shin-Kiba 1st RING. Both the day and evening AJPW SUMMER ACTION WARS 2026 events were sold out.

Yuya Aoki is in the midst of an impressive run in the Zennichi Jr. Festival. Back on Aug. 9th, he scored a big win over the current AJPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Dan Tamura. On Aug. 15th, Aoki was victorious in both the day and evening tournament bouts to catapult to the top of the B Block in sole possession of first place with six points. Aoki remains undefeated with a 3-0 record in the tournament.

In the daytime match, Aoki defeated Naruki Doi and in the evening match, he was able to emerge victorious against Shota Kofuji. Aoki won both bouts after using his patented Kesagiri Chop.

Aug. 15th was not a good day for Naruki Doi and Shota Kofuji. In addition to losing to Yuya Aoki, they both also lost to Hokuto Omori. Omori defeated Kofuji in the daytime event and then Doi in the evening bout. The two victories gave Omori four points and he is placed in second behind Aoki in the B Block.

• Triple Crown Skirmish: Yuma Anzai, Go Shiozaki & MUSASHI defeated Kento Miyahara, Ryuki Honda & Seigo Tachibana (13:46) after a Strong Arm Lariat by Shiozaki against Honda.
  
• Zennichi Jr. Festival – Block B: Hokuto Omori [2] defeated Shota Kofuji [0] (13:27) with a cross armbreaker.
  
• Zennichi Jr. Festival – Block A: Rising HAYATO [4] defeated Seiki Yoshioka [2] (16:40) with the Sid Vicious.

NIGHT EVENT

• Zennichi Jr. Festival – Block B: Yuya Aoki [6] defeated Shota Kofuji [0] (13:46) with a Kesagiri Chop.
• Go Shiozaki, Yuma Aoyagi & Yuko Miyamoto defeated Hideki Suzuki, Shotaro Ashino & Dan Tamura (8:06) after a Strong Arm Lariat by Shiozaki vs. Ashino.
