YUNA Becomes New Sendai World Junior Champion At Sendai Girls The Biggest Event

Since Nov. 2024, YUNA has been trying to fulfill her goal of becoming the Sendai Girls World Junior Champion. She has had 4 attempts since Nov. 2024 but has been unsuccessful each time.

YUNA has challenged Aya Sakura for the Sendai Girls World Junior Title in June 2025 and July 2025 but each time, Sakura emerged victorious to retain her title. YUNA is not one to give up as she defeated Akira Kurogane on Aug. 3rd to become the #1 contender for Aya Sakura and the Sendai Girls World Junior Championship and earned her third title shot in three months.

A determined YUNA was set to make the most of her latest opportunity. She appeared poised and focused as the match for the Sendai Girls World Junior Title got underway on Aug. 23rd at Sendai Girls The Biggest event. She took the fight to Sakura and in the end, she was able to finally defeat Sakura to make her goal a reality as YUNA became the new Sendai Girls World Junior Champion.

Following the match, YUNA gave a heartfelt speech to the crowd on hand at the Xebio Arena in Sendai. Soon after, STARDOM’s Rian appeared and challenged the new champion to a title match. YUNA quickly accepted and we can expect YUNA to defend her newly won title against Rian in the near future.
