Dragon Gate held its THE GATE OF MIYANE 2025 event at a sold out Korakuen Hall on Sept. 24th.
All Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Yuma Anzai made his Dragon Gate debut at the event teaming with Homare as they faced the Open The Dream Gate Champion Madoka Kikuta and his partner Yoshiki Kato.
Anzai’s debut was spoiled as his team fell in defeat to Kikuta & Kato. Following the match, Anzai got into it with Kikuta as the two went head to head.

Anzai posted on X that competing inside a Dragon Gate ring felt fresh and he enjoyed the experience. He indicated that he would like to return to Dragon Gate and it appears his target is Kikuta following the altercation between the two.
From Yuma Anzai:
Thanks for coming to #GateOfMIYANE2025 yesterday. Fighting on another promotion’s ring felt fresh and fun. Tagging up with Homare was also enjoyable. Getting talked down to by Madoka Kikuta stings, so I want to get back in the DRAGONGATE ring. Getting hassled by weirdos at the end was annoying. (Translation via Google Translate)
While Anzai has focused in on Kikuta and his Open The Dream Gate Title, he will have to wait to see if Kikuta still has the title after October 8th. Kikuta is scheduled to defend his championship on October 8th against Ben-K at THE GATE OF VICTORY 2025.

An inter-promotional singles match between Dragon Gate’s Madoka Kikuta and AJPW’s Yuma Anzai would be very highly anticipated by the fans. If Anzai could somehow win the Open The Dream Gate Title, it could trigger a full fledged battle between the two promotions.
