Yoshi Tatsu Claims Alpha Wolf Will Take The GHC Heavyweight Championship To WWE

By: Ian McCord

At Pro Wrestling NOAH’s LEGACY RISE 2026 on April 1st in Korakuen Hall, TEAM 2000X’s Yoshi Tatsu made a bold claim about the future of the GHC Heavyweight Championship.

Following Alpha Wolf & Masa Kitamiya’s victory over Yoshiki Inamura & Kazuyuki Fujita, Yoshi Tatsu would get on the microphone and declare that he has been in talks with WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H. The TEAM 2000X mouthpiece would issue a statement about the GHC Heavyweight Championship’s future if Alpha Wolf is victorious April 12 stating:

“Inamura, you love talking about WWE, don’t you? I actually got in touch with Hunter the other day! After winning the belt in Nagoya on April 12, Wolf will head straight to WWE! The GHC Heavyweight title will come under WWE jurisdiction. It’s what they call a “defection.” Don’t you guys in TEAM 2000X want to see a new timeline? On April 12 in Nagoya, get behind this Alpha Wolf!”

Yoshi Tatsu would continue discussing his plan to take the GHC Heavyweight Championship to WWE during Alpha Wolf’s post-match comments:

“On April 12, we defend this title, and then Alpha Wolf will move to WWE. The GHC Heavyweight Championship will come under WWE’s jurisdiction. It’d be pretty interesting if the feud between WWE and NOAH heated up, wouldn’t it?”

Yoshi Tatsu would then return the stolen GHC Heavyweight Championship to Inamura, leaving the champion with this message:

“Ten days left. Inamura, I’ll leave this belt here for you. Enjoy the GHC Heavyweight title for the next ten days. That’s all!”

The future of the GHC Heavyweight Championship will be decided on April 12th when Yoshiki Inamura defends the title against Alpha Wolf at NOAH’s APEX CONQUEST 2026 in NAGOYA.
