Xyon Wonders If There Is Anyone That Can Take The AJPW World Tag Titles From Him & Oddyssey

The All Japan Pro-Wrestling Real World Tag League is set to kick off on Nov. 22 at the famed Korakuen Hall. The current AJPW World Tag Team Champions Xyon & Oddyssey will be marked men in the tournament and it appears that the HAVOC duo are up for the challenge that lays before them.

A press conference was held on Nov. 18th to promote the upcoming Real World Tag League and Xyon posed a question that was aimed at the eleven other teams participating in the tournament.

From Xyon:

“Everyone, look at this title. Don’t you think it suits us so well? Is there anyone who can take it away from us? “There are all kinds of great wrestlers here. But we became champions for a reason. It wasn’t luck or coincidence. We earned this title through blood, sweat, and tears, the HAVOC way. It’s a brutal league, but we will stand at the top.” (Translated via Deepl)

Oddyssey had comments as well but kept it short and simple.

From Oddyssey:

“There’s nothing more to say. I’ll keep defending this title and make the fans happy. That’s all.” (Translated via Deepl)

While he and Oddyssey are in the B Block, their HAVOC teammates, Go Shiozaki & Shotaro Ashino have been placed in the A Block. Xyon revealed that he is hoping for an all HAVOC tournament final.

“Block A will definitely be those two [Ashino & Shiozaki]. Ultimately, no matter who wins, as long as this belt stays within this team [HAVOC].” (Translated via Deepl)

• Jun Saito, MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka vs. Dan Tamura, Ryo Inoue & Shouta Kofuji
• Real World Tag League – Block A: Hideki Suzuki & Kengo Mashimo  vs. Ren Ayabe & Talos
• Real World Tag League – Block A: Go Shiozaki & Shotaro Ashino vs. Hokuto Omori & Kuma Arashi
• Real World Tag League – Block B: Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs. Ryuki Honda & Naoya Nomura
• Real World Tag League – Block B: Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai vs. Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO
• Real World Tag League – Block B: Xyon & Oddyssey vs. Takashi & Kuroshio TOKYO Japan

Xyon & Oddyssey have held the AJPW World Tag Team Championship since Sept. 23rd when they defeated Hideki Suzuki & Kengo Mashimo. They have successfully defended their titles twice in a little over a month proving they will be fighting champions.

Now, Xyon & Oddyssey enter a tough tournament with five matches against five top tag teams in the B Block that would like nothing more than to defeat them.

The B Block will be a strong one as top teams including Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr., Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai and Ryuki Honda & Naoya Nomura will be competing in the block. This will be a true test for Xyon & Oddyssey as the world tag team champions.

Xyon stated that the tournament will be a brutal league but he and Oddyssey will stand on top.

We will find out where the AJPW World Tag Team Champions stand on Dec. 10th at the conclusion of the Real World Tag League.
