World Of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani’s Next Challenger Is Set And It’s Starlight Kid

On Dec. 29th at STARDOM DREAM QUEENDOM 2025, Saya Kamitani successfully defended her World of STARDOM championship in a tough match against Saori Anou. The win was Kamitani’s eighth straight successful defense and ensured that she will surpass one year as the holder of the coveted Red Belt.

Following her victory, Kamitani quickly learned who her ninth challenger for the World Of STARDOM Title will be as Starlight Kid appeared  and entered the ring.

Kid, who is a former Wonder of STARDOM champion, confronted Kamitani and challenged her for the Red Belt. The two engaged in a verbal battle that ended when Kid grabbed Kamitani by the hair only to have the Kamitani give her a forceful shove.

Starlight Kid had her first match in almost two months at STARDOM DREAM QUEENDOM 2025 as she was out with an injury. Kid teamed with AZM and they defeated Syuri & Tomoka Inaba. It was a Starlight Kid moonsault press onto Inaba that secured the victory for her team.

Kamitani will defend her World of STARDOM Title against Starlight Kid on Feb. 7th 2026 at STARDOM Supreme Fight in OSAKA 2026.
