On June 30th, Marigold superstar Victoria Yuzuki had the opportunity to become the GHC Women’s Champion when she faced the current titleholder Takumi Iroha at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Wrestle Magic 2025.
Yuzuki, who is a former Marigold Super Flyweight Champion, has made it a goal of hers to become a Grand Slam champion. She was hoping to add the GHC Women’s Title to her resume but unfortunately June 30th was not Yuzuki’s night.
Yuzuki gave Iroha everything she had in the match and very nearly dethroned the champion but in the end it was Iroha who was able to hit her Running Three on the challenger to emerge victorious.
Following the bout, Yuzuki expressed her disappointed at failing to win the GHC Women’s Title but remained confident that she will get another opportunity at the coveted title.
From Victoria Yuzuki:
“I stepped into this MONDAY MAGIC under its spell—and had the biggest chance to take the GHC belt from Takumi before even Utami could. I didn’t win. But I still believe I’ll grab that opportunity again. I’m aiming for a Grand Slam. That means I must win the GHC Women’s Title someday. Whether it’s under the MONDAY MAGIC lights or not, I want another shot. And next time… I will take that belt. Remember that.”
Yuzuki is only 20 years old and is without a doubt one of the young stars that will carry Joshi Puroresu for the next 20 years. It’s a safe bet to say that Yuzuki will be able to call herself a Grand Slam champion in the future.
