Tsuji and Kidd Advance to the NJPW World Tag League 2025 Final

NJPW continues its World Tag League 2025 tour. The penultimate show took place in Satsumasendai, Kagoshima, and consisted of seven matches. The main event was the second semifinal of the tournament: Gabe Kidd and Yota Tsuji vs. the Knockout Brothers.

In the third-to-last match, United Empire and the alliance between Bullet Club War Dogs and Unaffiliated continued their hostilities. Callum Newman and Great O’Khan’s frustration is palpable. United Empire wants to finish off the War Dogs and challenged them to a tag team match at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Who will David Finlay send to the match? Will we see someone from Unaffiliated?

In the penultimate match, TMDK defeated Hontai. Interesting dynamics, especially for Zack Sabre Jr., who faced great friends and rivals like Taichi and El Phantasmo. TMDK has momentum on its side just hours before the tournament final.

In the main event, the team of Tsuji and Kidd defeated the reigning IWGP champions to advance to the final. It was a very intense and entertaining match that reaffirms NJPW’s strong development of its tag team division and the singles path they have planned for Tsuji and Kidd in 2026. Will they be able to take the trophy home?
