The Titans of Calamity Win The AJPW World Tag Team Titles At Korakuen Hall

All Japan Pro Wrestling presented AJPW New Year Wars 2026 at Korakuen Hall on January 2nd with a very packed crowd of 1240. Their traditional first show of the year had a card of 6 matches. The main event was a special New Yar Battle Royal and the semi main event an AJPW World Tag Team Title match betweeen HAVOC (c) and Titans of Calamity.

Before the opening bell, the whole roster was presented in the middle of the ring. At this time, All Japan announced that Go Shiozaki and Shota Kofuji have sign contracts with the organization and will be competing full time with AJPW starting with that show. Inmediately after the announcament, Shiozaki and Kofuji faced each other in an exciting opener. Shiozaki secured the victory and starts his road to challenge for the Triple Crown Championship in the future.

In the second match, Hokuto-gun defeated Baka No Jidai in a very fun sprint. Hokuto-gun keeps gaining momentum as possible tag team championship challengers. In the third match, Miyahara led his team to victory after pinning Tamura. The crowd was electric for this match. The tension between former tag team champions MUSASHI and Yoshioka continues.

In the forth match, Sekimoto defeated Inoue. It was a good opportunity for Inoue to show how much he has grown in 2025. He was very close until the end but Sekimoto’s experienced allowed him to secure the victory. Inoue received a big pop from the crowd after kicking out at 1 after receiving Sekimoto’s Lariat before the end of the match. In the semi main event, Titans of Calamity defeated HAVOC (c) to win the AJPW World Tag Team Championships. It was a hard hitting bout between big mens. The action ocurred in the whole Korakuen Hall bringing pure HAVOC to the venue. In the, the Titans won after a double chokeslam on XYON. After the match, Talos announced his challenge for the Triple Crown Championship. Miyahara accepted after almost being hit with a double chokeslam.

In the main event, Anzai won the Battle Royal after eliminating Kofuji. A very fun match to close the show with many surprise eliminations. Kofuji was the MVP of the match after eliminating Shiozaki and Miyahara. Seems like AJPW will push him hard in the Junior division during the year.
