Tetsuya Naito States That He Has Been Enjoying His Time In Pro Wrestling NOAH Over the Past Few Months

Tetsuya Naito is apparently enjoying his time in Pro Wrestling NOAH. The former NJPW superstar and now freelancer made his debut for NOAH back on Jan. 1st at NOAH The New Year 2026 as he and fellow LOS TRANQUILOS de JAPON unit member BUSHI defeated KENOH & Naomichi Marufuji for the GHC Tag Team Championship.

Naito & BUSHI have successfully defended the GHC Tag Team Titles twice and have been regulars with NOAH since their debuts. They even brought along the other two LOS TRANQUILOS de JAPON members RYUSEI and Angel Reyes for a number of bouts.

On April 4th at the NOAH Lethal Odyssey Tour 2026 event, TEAM 2000x members Masa Kitamiya, Alpha Wolf, Kai Fujimura & Jun Masaoka defeated Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI, Angel Reyes & RYUSEI in eight man action. Following the bout, Naito participated in a backstage post-match interview and he declared that he is enjoying his time in NOAH by stating that everyday is fun.

“Since I started stepping into this Pro Wrestling NOAH ring, today was my first time at this venue, and there were plenty of wrestlers I was facing for the first time in the ring, every day is fun. To keep these fun days going, we need the GHC Tag Team Championship. I want to defend it at all costs. At the title match on April 12 in Nagoya, we’ll show you the wrestling of the current Naito & BUSHI and LOS TRANQUILOS de JAPON. See you again tomorrow at Fujisan Messe.”

Naito & BUSHI are set to defend their GHC Tag Team Championship on April 12th against OZAWA & Jun Masaoka in Nagoya. Naito has developed a feud with Team 2000x leader OZAWA that has been gaining NOAH a lot of attention over the past few weeks and it seems likely a singles match between the two will occur in the near future.

With Naito proclaiming that he is enjoying his time within NOAH, it will be interesting to see if Naito and the rest of LOS TRANQUILOS de JAPON can come to some sort of agreement in which they become official members of the promotion.
