Takumi Iroha retains the GHC Women’s Championship in RCW Spain

By: Pep S. Caro

Takumi Iroha is experiencing the peak of her career after winning the GHC Women’s Championship of Pro Wrestling NOAH. The “General and Ace of Marvelous” also holds three other championships: Marvelous’ AAAW Singles and Tag Team Championship, and the RCW Women’s World Championship from RCW in Spain. Making her the only active japanese pro wrestler with a top title of Europe and two from Japan.

RCW announced a few day ago that Iroha was rising the steaks of her upcoming RCW Women’s World Championship against Amale, former WWE wrestler from France, in Barcelona and was also going to defend the GHC Women’s Championship. This would be the first time the GHC Women’s Championship is defended outside of Japan and the first time a title from NOAH is defended in Spain. Iroha defended her GHC title at WRESTLE MAGIC earlier this week against Victoria Yuzuki of Marigold.

The time came and Iroha faced Amale in a hot crowd, also with a hot weather, in Barcelona, Spain. Amale and Iroha exchanged her best movement for almost 20 minutes but in the end, Iroha just needed a Running Three to get the victory and retain her RCW and GHC belts.

RCW Spain announced that the match was recorded and will be available in WRESTLE UNIVERSE at a later date. This will be the first time that a match from a Spanish Wrestling show appears in the platform. RCW Spain was the promotion that partner 9 years ago with STARDOM to allow Rossy Ogawa’s former promotion and that time President to do a European Tour that included the tournament to crown the SWA Undisputed World Champion that saw Io Shirai (AKA Iyo Sky) defeating (Timeless) Toni Storm in what was their first singles match ever.

RCW Spain keeps their momentum as their partnership with Marvelous Pro Wrestling it’s stronger than ever with Iroha as the Top Champion of both promotions.
