T-Hawk Celebrates a Triumphant Homecoming at Latest GLEAT Event in Tomakomai

By: Lewis Carlan

GLEAT superstar T-Hawk returned home on June 7th as the promotion held its latest event in Tomakomai, Hokkaido. The event was aptly named T-HAWK HOMECOMING ~ A STORY FROM MY HOMETOWN ~ TOMAKOMAI, A TOWN WITH DREAMS and a sold out crowd was on hand at the Avros Yashiro Sports Center to welcome home T-Hawk.

The main event featured hometown hero T-Hawk teaming with Hayato Tamura & Takehiro Yamamura as they faced Kaito Ishida, ARASHI & Daimonji So. After a highly competitive bout, T-Hawk ended the match at the 17:22 mark following an Avalanche-style Brainbuster on Daimonji So.

With the win, T-Hawk has maintained his momentum as he is set to face current GLEAT G-Rex Champion El Lindaman on July 1st in Tokyo. T-Hawk earned the title opportunity when he won the G-CLASS 2026 tournament on June 4th with a victory in the finals against Kaito Ishida.

GLEAT President Suzuki took to X and thank the fans in Tomakomai for the sell out and to offer praise to T-Hawk:

From President Suzuki:

“6.7 T-Hawk Homecoming Event: Thank you for the sold-out crowd. While T-Hawk is feared by his juniors in the ring and on social media as a “seriously intimidating senior,” the T-Hawk I know is the complete opposite: he’s a fighter who throws himself into situations that others would turn their backs on, pours his love and energy into them, and sets an example for others to follow. I’d like to express my gratitude to “Tomakomai, the city of dreams,” which raised such a remarkable T-Hawk.” (English translation via Deepl.com.)
