Syuri to Defend IWGP Women’s Championship Against Megan Bayne at STARDOM ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM

At the last STARDOM Nighter in Korakuen Hall, Syuri promised that she would defend the IWGP Women’s Championship at ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM. At today’s press conference, her opponent was announced as being AEW’s Megan Bayne.

With Bayne set to defend the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships with Lena Kross at AEW Dynasty, The Megasus spoke in a recorded message at the press conference:

STARDOM ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM will mark Syuri’s third defence of the IWGP title, having previously retained over Saya Kamitani and Athena. Their upcoming title match will mark the first singles meeting between Bayne and Syuri. Speaking at the press conference, Syuri shared her thoughts on her upcoming opponent:

I am truly happy. I have been wanting to have a match with her while putting this IWGP belt on the line, so I am truly happy that I can face the best opponent at Yokohama Arena. Megan is a wrestler with technique, power, and she is having great success overseas. I am incredibly excited.
