CMLL are about to celebrate their 93rd anniversary with an all-star card in Arena Mexico on September 18th. Their puroresu links are set to be on full show, with a quartet of STARDOM talent booked or the show.
Starlight Kid will be in tag team action at the 93rd Aniversario event, teaming with Tessa Blanchard. They will face the current CMLL World Women’s Champion, Persephone and a STARDOM alum, Mina Shirakawa.
After the conclusion of this year’s STARDOM 5STAR Grand Prix, the trio of Maika, Mei Seira and Ema Maishima have been spending time in CMLL. The tail end of August and the start of September has seen the three of them teaming together across Mexico with CMLL. Maika, Seira and Maishima will team together at the 93rd Aniversario event, with their opponents yet to be announced.
All four STARDOM members will also be in action at the Domingo Familiar Internacional event on September 13th as well. Seira and Maishima will team together to face Zeuxis and Keyra. Then, Kid and Maika will take part in an interpromotional tag team three-way, pitting them against Persephone and Olympia, and AEW’s Divine Dominion, Lena Kross and Megan Bayne.
Zack Sabre Jr. is also making the trip to Mexico City for this pair of events. At Domingo Familiar Internacional, he teams with TMDK stablemate Bad Dude Tito to face Hechicero and Esfinge. Then, at 93rd Aniversario, Sabre Jr. competes for the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship in a three-way against reigning champion Hechicero and AEW’s Claudio Castagnoli.
