Over a year after AZM’s request to Starlight Kid about wrestling each other again for the High Speed Championship she had won from her, the “eternal foes” of STARDOM went at it again at STARDOM’s Triangle Derby finals show last weekend.

The young fan favorites performed in a match that, according to multiple fans, surpassed their previous encounter in 2022 in terms of pacing and technique. Ultimately, AZM emerged victorious again.

However, instead of a reluctant fist bump, the High Speed Bomb Girl and the Sky Tiger shared a candid moment that gave the audience a peek at the respect they have for each other in the form of a pinky promise.

Starlight Kid would confirm later that her “High Speed Story” with AZM ended that day. Oedo Tai’s masked villain went on to social media and reposted a photo of their interaction, with the caption “Promise. High Speed Graduation”. AZM followed with “Thank you Kid. I promise.”

SLK explicitly stated that the next time they’d face each other, it would be in the main event of a show, in the biggest stage. The question remains not if it’s going to happen, but when.
