STARDOM Award Winners Honoured in Takadanobaba, More Matches Confirmed for Supreme Fight

By Noah Leatherland

Select members of the STARDOM roster were recognised for their achievements in 2025 at the STARDOM Award ceremony. But, as the promotion looks ahead to Supreme Fight in Osaka, more challenges were laid out for the big event.

The roster put on their glad-rags for the awards ceremony, with the winners presented with their awards on stage. The winners in each category are as follows:

  • Technique Award: Syuri
  • Fighting Spirit Award: Starlight Kid
  • Outstanding Performance Award: Saya Iida
  • Special Achievement Award: Tam Nakano
  • Topic Award: Fuwa-chan
  • SHINING Award (Fan voted): Saya Kamitani
  • Best Tag Team Award: BMI2000 (Natsuko Tora, Ruaka)
  • Best Unit Award: H.A.T.E.
  • Best Bout Award: Tam Nakano vs. Saya Kamitani (STARDOM ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM 2025 on April 27th at Yokohama Arena)
  • MVP Award: Saya Kamitani

The show itself saw title defences and challenges laid out for the upcoming STARDOM Supreme Fight event next month.

Maki Itoh scored her first pinfall in STARDOM in tag team action. The pinfall was even sweeter as it came over Aya Sakura, who Itoh will face in a grudge match at Supreme Fight. Itoh’s right to call herself ‘The Cutest in the World’ will be on the line in that match. In preparation, Itoh unveiled a homemade belt with the word ‘kawaii’ written on it here in Takadanobaba.

The trophies weren’t the only pieces of silverware up for grabs, as the show also saw a pair of title matches. Yuna Mizumori made her first successful defence of the High Speed Title, keeping Yuki Mashiro at bay. Hazuki also added a second tally to her defences of the CMLL-Japan Women’s Title, as she managed to overcome Olympia.

A huge 7-on-7 tag match took place in the main event, with H.A.T.E facing off against a mix of STARDOM stars. Hanan secured the win for the all-star team with a pin on Natsuko Tora. Emboldened by the win, Hanan laid out the challenge for STARDOM Supreme Fight, and was quickly accepted. BMI 2000 will defend the Goddesses of Stardom Titles against Hanan and Bea Priestley.

Another match for STARDOM Supreme Fight was also confirmed in the wake of the main event, as Rina will face-off with Fuwa-chan. Rina’s ire has been drawn by the newcomer, which Rina elaborated on in her post-match comments:

There was one person among the seconds that I have had a problem with for a long time. That’s Fuwa, who debuted recently. She doesn’t come to the regional tours. And she’s not even on today’s show. She wasn’t on yesterday’s either. What pisses me off the most and what I can’t stand the most is someone half-assed like that calling themselves a pro wrestler. I am going to beat the meaning of being a pro wrestler into you. You better be ready.
