Saya Kamitani became the first wrestler to secure a playoff spot in the 2025 STARDOM 5★STAR Grand Prix following her decisive victory over Hanan on Tuesday night’s show at Korakuen Hall, extending her remarkable singles winning streak to 340 days.
The Red Stars Block A leader defeated Hanan with a Revolution-Style Star Crusher in 11:54 to reach 10 points, mathematically guaranteeing her advancement to the knockout stage of the restructured four-block tournament format. The result eliminated both Rian and Sayaka Kurara, with Kurara’s elimination sealed by her earlier loss to Natsuko Tora, who defeated Kurara with a Swanton Bomb in 9:46 to tie Rina atop Block B at eight points.
The Blue Stars blocks remain wide open, with Momo Watanabe leading Block B after defeating Ranna Yagami via Chickenwing Facelock in 7:13 to reach eight points. Block A remains deadlocked between Ami Sohrei and Bozilla at six points each following their time-limit draw in the night’s longest match at 15:00.
