Stardom held a special press conference on July 5th to announce the participants for the 5 Grand Prix 2025.

Stardom announced that this year there will be 32 participantes making this edition the biggest ever. For second year in a row, there will be 4 Blocks and the tournament starts on July 27th.

The first 3 places of each Block will go to the KO Phase:
Quarter Finals and Semi Finals will be held on August 20th:
Finals will be held on August 23th between the Winners of the Blue and Red Braquets.

The only active wrestler in the 5 Star GP that has win the tournament before is Suzu Suzuki. She won the tournament in 2023 but lost the World of Stardom Championship match against Maika. Maika, 5 Star GP 2024 Winner, will miss the tournament because of injury.
The only active wrestlers that have compited in the Finals of the 5 Star GP are Saya Kamitani, Momo Watanabe and Konami. Kamitani is the current World of Stardom Champion but the Watanabe and Konami have never win the top title of the promotion.

Stardom has been dealing with some talent living the promotion in recent months and some others injured. If that was not only the case, there’s also talent that requested some time off and decided not to participate in the tournament this year. But that didn’t prevent them from having an stacked Line Up for the 5 Star GP 2025.
