Simon Inoki Reveals He’s Not Involved in AJPW Turmoil

By: R. Faliani

Simon Inoki reached out to Tokyo Sports and has spoken about his true involvement in All Japan Pro Wrestling’s infamous turmoil that has welcomed their 2024: Which despite countless discussions, remains to be none.

AJPW started 2024 on the wrong foot, or seemingly so, as what was meant to be a decisive year for the company turned into constant turmoil and controversy. Despite all of this, AJPW is reaching high levels of media coverage and the wrestling world is looking deep into this situation, as we have seen with Pro Wrestling NOAH’s own, Kenoh, who believes Katsuhiko Nakajima is “brainwashed” by a stronger force.

Suwama: “Since Nakajima’s arrival, everyone is questioning what is going on”

Although Inoki is not involved in this situation, the idea of a “mastermind” behind President Fukuda becomes more apparent as time goes on. However, there are still pieces to this puzzle, which has been formerly presented by known All Japan legend Suwama. Tokyo Sports reported there was an advisor for President Fukuda, and he has been in the eye of the storm recently amid All Japan’s roster. Inoki can point out why he’s suspected to be said “mastermind”:

“I’m having trouble because I’m getting calls from various places saying I’m the one. I know people on social media are saying a lot of stuff. I just got in trouble with WWE over Charlie Dempsey.”

With Inoki denying his involvement in this problem, Suwama knowing the existence of a mastermind who has been trying to take over All Japan, and this known advisor who reportedly has a bad relationship with the talent, one can connect the dots and be closer to a definitive answer. The company is taking action in this matter to normalize everything, based on what was reported by an anonymous talent, but until then we just have to wait and see what happens with All Japan.
