Shun Skywalker Arrives In NJPW, Aligns With House of Torture

After departing Dragongate back on Aug. 4th superstar Shun Skywalker has found a new home.

On Aug. 15, New Japan Pro-Wrestling held its G1 Climax 36 Semifinals event at Ryogoku Kokugikan.

One of the matches on the event saw the House of Torture team of Ren Narita, SANADA, DOUKI & SHO defeat KONOSUKE TAKESHITA, Taichi, El Desperado & Ryusuke Taguchi in an eight man tag team bout.

After the match, House of Torture proceeded to attack KONOSUKE TAKESHITA. During the course of the beatdown, the House of Torture members waved for someone to join them and that individual was revealed to be Shun Skywalker.

During his backstage post-match interview, Skywalker stated he is aligning himself with House of Torture and targeting KONOSUKE TAKESHITA.

“I went back to Tenku for a bit, but it was just too boring—way too peaceful. I have to fight. And I have to do it as HOUSE OF TORTURE. KONOSUKE TAKESHITA—I’m here to take him down. I’m looking forward to this. Aren’t you?” (Translated via Deepl.com)

Shun Skywalker had been with Dragongate since 2015 before leaving the promotion and officially joining NJPW.
