Seri Yamaoka Set To Face Sareee For The First Time Ever At MARIGOLD SHINING ATTACK 2026 On May 16th

A massive match has been confirmed for the upcoming MARIGOLD SHINING ATTACK 2026 event on May 16th at Korakuen Hall.

Seri Yamaoka is set to face Sareee for the first time ever in a singles encounter. This huge match-up became a reality when Yamaoka requested a match with Sareee via SNS and the challenge was accepted.

The 19 year old Yamaoka recently won her first singles title when she defeated Angel Hayze for the British Empire Women’s World Championship on April 25th. After winning the belt, Yamaoka stated that she wants to keep leveling up which could be the reason why she decided to challenge one of the very best in the world in Sareee. The BEW Championship is not expected to be on the line for this bout.

This will be Sareee’s first appearance in Marigold since Oct. 2025 when she defeated Chika Goto at Marigold Grand Destiny.

Yamaoka has been called the future of Joshi Puroresu and has greatly improved since her debut back on Jan. 3rd 2025. Her skills will be put to a massive test when she steps into the ring with one of the current leaders of Joshi Puroresu and true superstar Sareee on May 16th.

This may be the first ever singles bout between Seri Yamaoka and Sareee but it’s a certainty that it won’t be their last.
