Saya Kamitani States STARDOM Is Creating The Golden Age Of Women’s Pro Wrestling, Hopes For 10,000 fans at Yokohama Arena Event

On April 26th, STARDOM will present its next major event ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM 2026 at the Yokohama Arena. The main event will see the World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani defend the title against Sakaya Kurara. As of this writing, Kamitani has held the Red Belt for an incredible 463 days and this will be her tenth title defense.

In addition, the Wonder of STARDOM Champion Konami will face the challenge of Hanan and the Goddesses of STARDOM Champions Natsuko Tora & Ruaka will put their titles on the line against AZM & Miyu Amasaki.

STARDOM has been red hot for quite some time as they have seen a rise in attendance over the past year. One of the main reasons has been the stellar work of World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani. Besides being seemingly unbeatable in the ring, she became the first woman ever to win the Tokyo Sports Pro-Wresting MVP award for 2025.

Kamitani took to X recently and indicated that STARDOM is creating the golden age of women’s pro wrestling and she hopes to see 10,000 fans at the Yokohama Arena for STARDOM ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM 2026.

“We’re the ones creating the golden age of women’s pro wrestling!!!! Which means you guys are witnessing a historic moment right now! Be grateful! We absolutely want to fill the Yokohama Arena with 10,000 people on April 26, so come check it out!”

As of this writing, numerous sections of the Yokohama Arena have been sold out and a crowd of 10,000 fans attending the event is not out of the realm of possibility.

If STARDOM is able to bring in 10,000 fans to the Yokohama Arena on April 26th, that would be an incredible feat for the promotion. It would be an accomplishment that would make every single roster member as well as President Taro Okada extremely proud of.
