STARDOM’s Saya Kamitani spent Oct. 17th as the one-day station chief at the Joto Police Station in Tokyo. At a player talk event during the appearance, she was asked about her biggest goal in life right now and answered that it is a STARDOM show at the Tokyo Dome.
Kamitani posted photos of herself in the station chief’s uniform and cap, saluting from the driver’s seat of a Metropolitan Police patrol car.
In her post Kanitani says she did the one-day chief job and warns that she will arrest the bad kids. By Sunday evening it had passed 180,000 views.
A backdrop in her photos carries the Metropolitan Police and Joto Station names under a banner for the nationwide community safety campaign, which the National Police Agency has running Oct. 11th to 20th this year. Fraud prevention and keeping young people out of crime are among its priorities.
The Tokyo Dome answer comes from a fan account’s video of the player talk, as translated into English by X user Shigeo (@sg_oxxt).
In that translation, Kamitani’s reply to the goal question is that it is, “of course,” STARDOM holding a show at the Tokyo Dome.
The goal is not new.
In a Slam Wrestling interview on Dec. 29th, ahead of Wrestle Kingdom 20, Kamitani said her main motivation was getting STARDOM to run its own show at the Tokyo Dome. She wrestled at the Dome on Jan. 4th and lost the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship to Syuri in 12 minutes.
“The Phenex Queen” saw her World of STARDOM reign ended at 483 days on April 26th, when Sayaka Kurara beat her in the main event of All Star Grand Queendom at Yokohama Arena.
